Trauma & Gender-Based-Violence Informed Narrative Therapy Approach Intermediate Level 2 (Mar 21)
Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS’s) Strategic Interventions is pleased to offer this workshop on Mar 21 for frontline workers in anti-violence and social service organizations.
Through these one-day Trauma & Gender-Based-Informed Narrative Therapy Approach workshop, participants will deepen their learning on the Narrative Therapy approach from a therapy-informed social justice/feminist-inspired therapeutic practice. Participants will learn components of the narrative therapy methodology and will commence to craft narrative questions. Rosa Elena guides participants well beyond current ideas about trauma and facilitates her teaching by taking the learner inside the complexities of the long-lasting impacts of childhood trauma, GBV, IPV, and SA.
- Rosa Elena shows transcripts to demonstrate step by step how interviews her consultant by crafting narrative therapeutic questions.
- Participants will write a therapeutic letter ~ in response to a live interview the participants have witnessed.
