Connect with Maggie

Maggie Ziegler, MA, has decades of experience as a psychotherapist whose experience included engaging with survivors of a wide range of traumas including sexual abuse and assault, domestic violence, war, genocide,  and political oppression.

As an educator, she has written curricula and delivered trauma-related training in a wide range of organizations and institutions. She has a strong focus on issues related to ethics, relationships, and the impact of witnessing the stories and suffering of survivors of past trauma as well as ongoing marginalization and oppression.

Maggie has volunteered with women’s organizations in Croatia supporting women refugees from the wars in the former Yugoslavia, delivered violence intervention workshops in Japan over a number of years and spent much of the decade before the pandemic involved with post genocide peace-making in Rwanda.

She facilitates experiential group retreats that offer a safe and supportive space to enter both the joy and pain we carry for our troubled world, releasing the heart to a deeper engagement.

She is committed to walking a path of decolonization.
