Strategic Interventions presents a specialized training series for mental health professionals, counsellors, therapists, social workers, and frontline service providers. These workshops equip participants with practical tools to support trauma survivors using a trauma- and gender-based violence-informed narrative therapy approach. Rooted in social justice and feminist perspectives, the training fosters a compassionate, effective, and culturally responsive practice.
Building on Level 1, this session deepens participants’ understanding of narrative therapy techniques and their application in working with clients who have experienced multiple traumas, including childhood trauma, intimate partner violence, and sexual assault. Practical exercises will focus on trauma-informed interviewing, storytelling as a healing tool, and strategies for resilience-building.
